The market is open for ordering and we have so many wonderful things to choose from.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the farmers if you are looking for something in particular or need bulk for canning or freezing. They may have extra. Amestoy Farms left extra vegetables this week which was a blessing for those of us that forgot to order certain items.
We are ordering cheese next week so go to the Group Buy on the market and place your order. This way you get what you want and in the quantity you want. This is raw milk cheese from an organic dairy. These are the best prices I have seen for raw milk cheese and it is delicious. We will order monthly, more if we need to. I like to order the larger quantity and freeze it. I grate it and freeze it on a cookie sheet then put it in a bag. Just take it out by the handful and use it as needed. Place your order and you will pay for it when you pick it up.
I have been looking for butter and found a dairy that produces organic butter. They have 4 cows so the quantity will be limited. These are grass fed cows with the exception of getting a small amount of grain during the hardest part of winter. The butter is salted with Natural Salt, containing all the minerals. The butter is $5/lb before shipping. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing and I will give her an idea of the amount we want and then we can get shipping info.
