Cabbage and Sausage

Easy one dish meal that is sure to be a hit and basic enough to add your own flair to.

Serves: 4-6 hungry adults


Ingredients
1 cabbage
2 carrots, grated
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. sausage
1/2 cup water
1 tsp salt, oregano, basil, thyme and garlic

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Chop cabbage and steam in the water with the added spices. In a separate pan, brown the sausage, add the carrots and onions to the sausage and continue cooking until they are tender. When most of the water has cooked out of the cabbage, add the meat and vegetables, stir well and serve with a piping hot pan of cornbread.
